PPTOPA AUDITIONS

  The Pembroke Pines Theatre of Performing Arts is holding auditions for its upcoming production, PUTTING IT TOGETHER, a musical revue showcasing the songs of Stephen Sondheim and his incomparable career in musical theater

The cast performs nearly 30 songs, reflecting on the complexity of modern relationships

Man 1

Party host. Rich. Hard-working. Pompous. Miserable in his marriage.

Age: 40 to 60         Vocal range top: F5         Vocal range bottom: F3

Man 2

Charming. Enjoys being a bachelor who may want to get married someday.

Age: 25 to 35         Vocal range top: A5          Vocal range bottom: G3

Man 3

The uninvited party guest. Mischievous, kooky, and forward.

Age: 30 to 45         Vocal range top: F5         Vocal range bottom: G3

 Woman 1

Party hostess. Rich. Outwardly happy. Regal and proper, yet depressed and shallow.

THIS ROLE IS CAST. Only seeking possible replacements.

Age: 40 to 60         Vocal range top: G5         Vocal range bottom: D3

Woman 2

A maid who eventually becomes a party guest. Winsome and sexy. Ditzy with little book smarts.

Age: 20 to 30         Vocal range top: G5          Vocal range bottom: F3

September 16-October 10

 PERFORMANCES 

October 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20

Non-Equity.  Actors will receive a small stipend.
